Wheeler Dealer airs every Saturday morning from 9 am - 11 am on Power 99 (98.9 FM) and Original Hits 1460 AM. This call-in show allows listeners to bid on items available from retailers in the Central Nebraska area. The highest bid at the end of the bidding time wins the right to purchase the item. Listeners pay for their purchases at the Power 99 office in Kearney (checks, cash or credit cards are accepted) and are given a certificate to redeem at the retailer. Typically, items go for about half of retail value. Food items are popular, as are collectable coins and cards. Recently, Power 99 has auctioned off the following items:

You can call the Wheeler Dealer Show by dialing 236-9900 or 1-800-237-KKPR (5577). Items with fixed prices may be ordered by e-mail (wheelerdealershow at kkpr.com) until quantities are depleted. The Wheeler Dealer host will ask for an identifying number for the items you are bidding on. Typically, most listeners use a number they can easily remember, like the last four digits of their phone number. You do not need to have two different numbers to bid on more than one item. Frequently, the host will allow more than one purchase per phone call. Items must be picked up before 12:00 noon on the following Friday or they are forfeited. Listeners who live outside of Kearney can either mail checks for their purchases or call and charge them to a credit card.
