It was during a Phil Silvers television show that Dave decided being inside the radio was the thing for him. So Dave set out on a quest... one that has lead him to you every day on Oldies Radio, Power 99. And to his listeners, Dave truly believes, "...You are the world's greatest radio listening audience! Thank you for being part of Oldies Radio!"

Ron Foster
Ron Foster gets his audience through the workday afternoon and on the way home as the afternoon host of Power 99.

Ron has spent most of his 30-plus year career in Texas, hosting programs for KILT and KIKK in Houston. Prior to coming on board with Oldies Radio, he hosted the morning show at Dallas/Fort Worth’s KSCS.

Ron’s first book, "Rock & Roll Trivia," was published in 1995 and has sold well with his affiliates and his audience. His next project is writing a mystery novel.

Joining Power 99 in 1988, Ron started as an air talent with Oldies Radio. He is responsible for making sure his audience stays on track through the afternoon hours and on their commute home. Though it’s a tough challenge, Ron says he’s up to it.

"One of the greatest things about this business is relating to the people," he says. "I love to connect with them. I love it when they tell me that I make them happy."

Ron is preparing the release of his next writing project.

Mike Preston
Mike Preston takes the edge off a stressful day as the evening host on Power 99
An Ohio native, Mike has always given his time and energy to things that are important to him—whether it’s his job or a charity like the American Cancer Society. That giving part of his personality has made his 30-plus years in radio very successful.

Listeners in St. Louis made quick friends with Mike while he was at radio station WIL, and audiences in Cleveland appreciated his witty style and on-air friendliness during a stint at WGAR. Mike joined Oldies Radio in 1989 and prior to that, he did the morning drive at KMGC, Dallas.

"Radio personalities are the unpaid psychiatrists of the world," jokes Mike. "We try to make people feel better about the world every single day." Preston knows what he’s talking about. As the host of ABC’s Oldies Radio evening show, he spends a lot of time talking to listeners, because a good part of the show is dedications and requests. "I love it," he says. "I love talking to them. I love playing the Oldies."

Off the air, Mike spends his free time working with charities. He’s also a serious family man who is devoted to his wife and three children.

"Probably the highest honor I ever received in any career was being presented with a ‘Best Dad in the World’ award from my children."

Lou Warren
Lou Warren is the overnight personality on Power 99. A favorite personality among Oldies Radio listeners, Lou actually began his career in medical school at Oklahoma State University. While studying there, he caught the radio "bug" and decided to pursue a career in broadcasting at Tulsa’s KELI. As his interest and talent in radio flourished, Lou moved to KJNE in Waco, Texas, where he became the production director. He received the "ADDY" award of excellence in radio production for his successful leadership. The National American Advertising Award recognizes creative excellence in radio and is one of the industry’s largest and most respected honors.

Lou also built upon his on-air and production experience at several oldies and news radio stations, including KLUV-Dallas, and WJNO-West Palm Beach, before making the move to Dallas’ KRSR. There he worked as a news anchor and midday fill-in, and made two guest appearances on "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee."

To expand his possibilities, Lou later accepted a part-time job in 1989 at Oldies Radio. After a year and a half, he was hired as a full-time personality.

Along with being famous for his exceptional connection with audiences, Lou is known for his amazing singing voice. He is a regular performer in a barber shop quartet and is a former international champion of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America.

When Lou is off the air, he enjoys cooking as a hobby.
