Man arrested after doctoring lottery ticket

Police have arrested a Lincoln man suspected of doctoring a lottery ticket to make it appear to be worth thousands of dollars. The case began in October when a woman walked into the Nebraska Department of Revenue with a ticket she claimed was worth $35,000. Workers at the department suspected it had been altered and called police.
